SHEisRARE is a not-for-profit organisation, which aims to spark change in diversity at workplaces, instil passion in young people to choose STEM and see more women in leadership.
I understand the business needs and translate them for my technology team to build a technical solution.
I love to understand why and how things happen. I'm faced with new challenges and new problems to solve in a dynamic and challenging work environment, which allows me to continuously develop my problem solving and critical thinking skills.
My day is very fast-paced and filled with variety of challenges. In the morning, it starts with a team meeting where we discuss the progress made so far, key goals for the day and raise any issues. Then I have meetings with relevant business users including editorials, other technology departments and third-party companies where I find myself asking questions to understand the problems of my end users and gathering detailed information to understand their needs. Once I've understood their requirements, I analyse and document the findings, and work with both end users and my technology team to identify and build a solution.
I achieved BSc (Hons.) Business Information Systems degree from University of Westminster. While studying, I started seeking out casual or remote jobs such as being a Conference Assistant for Corporate Social Responsibility team at my university and working as a Google Streetview Classification Assistant for a researcher. Then, I also worked at the head office of Attend, The King's Fund as a Research Assistant for 3 months internship, which allowed me to enhance my research writing, critical thinking, project management and interpersonal skills. Upon my degree completion, I was working in the field of Business Analyst at StreamAMG, which is part of PA Media Group. Following this full-time job after a year and half, I moved to News UK to grow my business analysis skills further.

I love travelling to the brightest, weird gems and hidden places with my camera. I click many photos of buildings too that some people think that I have done an architecture degree. I'm a foodie, who likes to eat at quirky cafes/restaurants (Yes, I've also tried eating in a unique refurbished toilet cafe...)
