Principal Agile Coach for Product & Engineering

NMI

NMI is a global leader in embedded payments, powering more than $200 billion in payment volumes every year. We help our partners deliver payment solutions to their customers, wherever and however consumers want to pay – online, in-store, in-app, mobile, and unattended. I design, articulate, train and coach ways of working across our Product and Engineering teams to make sure things runs effectively and efficiently.

I like being able to help and coach people to perform to the best of their abilities at work, understanding their motivations and what's important to them. I also like seeing how technology can improve how organisations work, the customer's journey and and the employee's experience.

A typical day involves talking, a lot! I also spend time reading about new ways of working or changes to establish if there's new ideas we can use to help us deliver programs, projects and products differently.

I really don't know what the future holds at the moment and don't like to do long term planning! I'll probably move back into a delivery management / leadership role at some point in the future to make sure I'm keeping my skills up to date!

"Do the next right thing" - Queen Anna of Arendelle from Frozen 2 although I think the original quote is from Grand Pabbie The reason I like this quote is that change can be hard and overwhelming, but doesn't need to be. We just need to do the next right thing, given what we currently know.
