Arm - Arm designs the computer chips that are in technology, such as smart phones or tablets.

I write about how Arm computer chips work. I talk to the engineers about what they are designing. I write instructions and guides so Arm's customers can understand and build new technology, using the chips.

I get to learn new things every day and talk to interesting people about the work that they do! I love writing so that more people can understand technology.

I email engineers to find out about their work, as well as doing my own research into what they are doing. I then work out what I need to tell our customers, and plan my writing. After I have finished writing, I spend a lot of time editing it. I check that it is clear, makes sense, and that there are no mistakes.

I took triple science at GCSE, and then science A-levels (Maths, Physics, and Chemistry). Although I found A-levels difficult and did not do as well as I had hoped, I still went on to do a Master's Physics Degree at Aberystwyth University and achieved a first class degree.

When I become more experienced as a writer, I would like to write my own complete documents and continue to develop my career with Arm. In the future, I would also like to do a PhD.

I decorate cakes, swim, watch Star Trek, and I play Dungeons and Dragons with my friends. I am also teaching myself how to make clothes and book bind.
