I use data and mathematical models to give insights into usage of various resources and provide predictions of future usage.
I really enjoy digging deep into the root of the problem and offering solutions from even the messiest data. I enjoy collaborating on a problem, seeing the issues, and then finding the solutions together.
I come to the office, write a short list of tasks for the day (writing the list is one of the tasks, tick already :) ), decide what is the priority of the day, work with data or program, meet with collaborators on various projects. Close to finish for half an hour or an hour read about new techniques I can employ in my work and reflect on the day.
I used to work in dry cleaning company alongside my studies to support myself and also done some research placements in the summer. I come from Poland and I have done my equivalent of A-Levels there. I earned an advanced degree in Theoretical and Mathematical Physics from King's College London and then a PhD in Controlled Quantum Dynamics from Imperial College London.
In the future, in any business area or company, I would still like to make decisions and policies that are helped by information hiding in data and all the information that I can gather from any other areas this decision may affect.
I really enjoy reading and writing, especially poetry. I like gaming and watching films with my friends and family. I really enjoy learning new languages and new skills, I just bought a sewing machine so we will see how this will go
