Apoorva Panidapu

Artist, Student Math Researcher, Youth and Gender Minorities Advocate, Keynote Speaker

Founder of Apoorva Panidapu's Art Gallery and Chief STEAM Advisor for Girls Leadership Academy Meetup (GLAM)

Through public speaking, sharing my story, and mentoring, I motivate young girls to pursue their passions and learn business, leadership, and coding skills to create positive change in the world.

I love hearing all sorts of innovative ideas from younger generations—I'm so inspired by their enthusiasm, energy, and passion!

The best thing about my school/work is that there isn't a typical day! Every day, I get to choose what I want to work on, whether that's writing funny math articles, painting a new portrait, or speaking at STEAM events. Each day is a new adventure!

For as long as I can remember, I've always loved math, puzzles, and solving problems. Despite facing gender bias in my early years, I persisted because I love math and followed my curiosity. When I was 12, I also founded my own online art gallery because I want to help the world using my passions. I sell my art to raise funds for charity and social reform (https://www.apoorvaartgallery.com).

In the future, I hope to continue dismantling gender bias in early education and encouraging young girls and gender minorities to do what they love. I'd also like to start my own company one day and create something that positively impacts millions of people!

I love to go on long walks, read, hike, paint, and go bowling or ice-skating with my family and friends!
