Elizabete Ludborza

Junior Legal Officer

eBay - our mission is to provide a global online marketplace where practically anyone can trade almost anything, enabling economic opportunity around the world.

My job title is a broad one, but what it means is that I work with multiple colleagues to ensure that the payment entities of eBay globally are adhering to local laws and regulations.

I love working with colleagues around the world to make the eBay Payments part of the business run as smoothly as it can. I thrive working in a multicultural environment.

A typical day at work includes logging in from home, going through my e-mails and meetings before diving into my work. My work relates to the implementation of a Software as a Service tool to ensure that regulatory inventories are easily accessible by global teams.

After finishing high school, I did a law degree at the University of Warwick (UK) and Monash University (Australia) before landing my first post-graduate job at eBay in Luxembourg.

The future is unpredictable but above all, I want to change the world for the better (even if in a little way). Nobody is too small to leave the world a better place than they found it.

Fashion and travel are long-term hobbies of mine. In my free time, I create content on social media relating to both -- whether that be on my website, Instagram, Pinterest, etc.
