Her Health Haven
I am a Co-Founder of Her Health Haven, an organization looking to reduce the taboo surrounding women's menstrual health and striving to end period poverty. I am also a high schooler and part of many volunteering-oriented clubs, such as California Scholarship Federation, Red Cross, and National Honors Society. As a Co-Founder of Her Health Haven, I help run the website and social media pages, co-write many of the blogs on the website, and help raise donations for our cause. As a highschooler, I help volunteer in many events in my community, and donate many items for different causes.
I love doing all of these jobs because I love helping out and making a difference in my community!
Since I am a high schooler, my typical day consists of going to all my high school classes, such as science, math, and history. Then I will normally have an extracurricular class, like dance or vocal classes. After those classes, I will spend the rest of my day doing homework or work for my org - Her Health Haven.
My passion and interest in women's menstrual health led to me co-founding Her Health Haven.
In the future, I would love to go to a university, preferably in California, on the pre-medicine track. From there, I would go to medical school on the track to become a doctor!
For fun, I love to dance and sing! I take dance and vocal classes outside of school. I am also part of my school's dance and choir programs. I love reading and can never put down a good book! I also love hanging out with family and friends.
