Cisco is a global company that develops, manufactures, and sells networking hardware, software, telecommunications equipment, and other high-technology services and products. Product managers serve as the bridge between the customer, the business, and the technical teams. We help that the product delivers value and meets the needs of all parties involved.
The variety and complexity of this role keep things interesting and allow me to continually learn and adapt. If you enjoy diversity in your daily tasks and thrive on communication and collaboration, then product management can be a highly rewarding career path!
My role often involves interacting with diverse teams and stakeholders from around the world . I help gather requirements, monitor product performance and improvements, define product launch, guide during development phases, among other tasks.
I love being a Product Manager, but I never dreamed on becoming one! Iy's incredible that I started as a product user and now I manage the tech and products. I went to university, studied Mechatronics Engineering and earned a Bachelor's degree. Then I went on to earn Higher Technician certification in Biotechnology. I have continued with my studies and earning additional certifications through various online learning platforms (Cisco University, LinkedIn Learning, Udemy, etc.). These courses gave me the required knowledge to move into this role successfully and continue to grow my career.
The Product Management world inspires me and I want to grow on this path. In the near future I hope to own a product and start implementing AI into it.
