The teacher should consider themselves as a facilitator, guide and co-learner in the education process. It's the teacher's responsibility to encourage students to take charge of their learning journey

I love teaching people: helping them acquire a skill they need or want! I love when I see the “click” of “oh, NOW I get it!” from a student

A typical day for a teacher usually involves arriving early to prepare their classroom, teaching multiple lessons throughout the day, interacting with students, managing classroom behavior, grading assignments, providing individual support, attending staff meetings, planning future lessons, and often continuing work after school hours to complete grading or prepare materials for the next day.

My journey to becoming a teacher was deeply rooted in a love for learning and a desire to make a positive impact on young minds; from early childhood experiences where I would often "play teacher" with my siblings, to actively seeking out tutoring opportunities in high school

As a future teacher, your goals could include: mastering classroom management techniques, fostering student engagement through creative teaching methods, developing collaborative leadership skills, encouraging critical thinking and reflection in students, staying updated with new educational technologies, and actively supporting the academic and personal growth of all students by providing individualized attention and setting high expectations.

A "personal interests teacher" refers to a teacher who actively incorporates their own hobbies, passions, and interests into their curriculum, using them to engage students and create a more relatable learning environment by connecting subject matter to real-world experiences they find personally exciting.

Education is not preparation for life; education is life itself. Learning may begin in the classroom, but it certainly doesn't end there. Teachers set up the signs for the road ahead that is life itself. They inspire students to learn wherever life may take them.
