Girls Leadership Academy Meetup (GLAM)
Mentoring and supporting girls in learning about leadership, business, and different fields within STEAM (science, tech, arts, and math). I also mentor and support other mentors who guide the girls through the GLAM program.
I love working with young girls and helping them cultivate their passions.
A GLAM event starts off by learning the girls' names, their different interests, and being a positive role model for my team. I help guide them through the GLAM curriculum and presentations. I also support the girls narrow down their ideas for a business, develop a business plan, and help them create a team business pitch.
I attended GLAM events when I was younger and now I volunteer to mentor other girls and mentors.
Some of my future goals include working as a UX designer and helping create products that people interact with.
Some of personal interests include creating art and baking.
