Rebeca Lopez Valerio
Hardware Engineer
Cisco
I design, develop, and test hardware for networking equipment, including routers, switches, and motherboards.
I love that I do hands-on work.
I work on hardware, debug issues in the lab, and validate designs.
Growing up, I learned three languages: Spanish, English, and the universal language of math. Math logic provides a backbone for electromagnetism. My interest in engineering and hardware grew from my fascination in self-driving cars. So I majored in Electrical Engineering and sought to further explore experience in hardware. I interned as a Robotics Engineer as well as an Electrical Engineer while earning a Bachelor of Science. Upon graduation, I joined Cisco.
I would like to be a manager someday.
I love to run!
