CCWE is a human resources service company that is transforming workplace DEI through the world’s first competency-based, politically neutral approach. I look after the budget, planning, scheduling, and delivery of all the work that is delivered to our clients.
It's varied and I love being a mentor and helping my team develop. I also enjoy talking at schools about my career and opportunities in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Maths).
I'm in meetings on the laptop most of the day, either planning which team will deliver which project or helping sort out problems which the teams may have or I'm in team meetings where we chat about what people are working on, what support they need. But it's also important to hear about my teams' lives, what their struggles are, and how I can help them.
I studied History at University . I then went into TV production and I used my transferable skills (budgeting, scheduling, organising) to move from Production Management into Project Management. I've worked up from there, taking on more responsibility and more leadership roles.
I want to inspire more girls and minorities into STEM careers and help them progress and develop along the way. I do this through the freelance work I do in Inclusion, Diversity, Equity, and Accessibility (IDEA) spaces.
Reading. I love walking in the woods with my dog (a cockapoo) and my family or friends. I enjoy having fun with my two girls, watching TV or playing games, cooking, and dressing up!
