When I was in high school I taught aerobics at a local health club. The sales manager quit and they asked me to do sales. I was a natural because I connected at a personal level with the customers. By the time I was a senior I was making 30K a year. I thought I did not need to go to college but my mother ( who was a college professor said no.) so I registered and did both! And continued on to get Masters by age 25. After college I realized retail was not going far and interviewed for early tech company. Doing a lot of research and follow up got the job. I took on leadership positions in all of the companies. I followed the hot technology and continued to lean in on what was relevant for the future. Observing and learning from the best of the best. Asking questions, listening and trying new ideas.

My future holds leaning in at scale to make the workplace less routine. Bringing Positive energy and contribution from all levels. In 2020 I joined an Early Stage Start Up Board of Advisors. In the future I look to join a mid stage company board as there is a large opportunity for women on boards in the future. Expand my community through the written word.
