I lead an engineering group in eBay's platform team. Our responsibility is to build and maintain the next generation eBay application development framework using the latest technologies. Out framework helps eBay application dev teams to develop applications efficiently, keeping security and availability intact.
My work is a constant learning and development. The technology I work on solves hard real life problems. This gives me a purpose.
My typical day includes planning for the priority items, design and development for a given problem statement and finally reviewing and gathering the feedback of what we developed.
I have a Master's in Computer Applications and have a 15 years of experience in software industry. I had been an application developer/coder most of my career and now working as in engineering manager in eBay. I have been in eBay for 10 years now!
In future I would love to make more advancement technically in my career. I would like to contribute to the society with my knowledge of technology and solve real life problems that is for greater good.
For fun I spend my time with my family - two boys keep me on my toes. I run short distances and I do some painting to calm my mind sometimes.
