I am a Recruiter and in my role, I help people land an opportunity to work at Google.
In my role as a Recruiter, I have an opportunity to positively impact the talent who helps build and create amazing things that Google offers for you, your family, and the entire world!
A typical day at work is: (1) I source talent looking for a job online through LinkedIn, online applications, and then help them interview for the job. (2) I work closely with managers who are hiring so I can make sure I find who they are looking for. (3) My coworkers and I work together and collaborate on ideas to help make the interview and application process easy and accessible for everyone.
I took a leap of faith and changed careers a few times until I found a recruiter role, which I think is my true calling. I like meeting, talking, and helping people, so this job is perfect!
My future is ideally to become a program manager, where I will have an opportunity to be accountable for leading a cool project from start to finish. I would also like to become an instructor for Google's Learning and Development, to help other Googlers grow and succeed in their jobs.
I am a mom to two children - my daughter and son. We enjoy family games nights, watching Lego Masters show, building Legos, playing video games, and walking to the farmer's market!
