My job involves getting data from lots of different places and using maths and programming skills to get interesting predictions and recommendations .
I love to solve problems for people - it feels like I'm playing a maths puzzle or computer game.
There is no typical day for me - one day I will building recommendation algorithms in the healthcare industry and the next predicting human behavior in a shop.
At school I studied computing and maths because I realised that I loved to code. I eventually went to study Cybersecurity at university which was really fun because I learned to hack and got to work with our local police to investigate crimes. I eventually found my love for data science - which is where my passion for maths and programming intersect and here I am!
I have no idea where I want to go next! I plan on returning to university soon to study for a masters in statistics and data science so I can work in AI and data science to help more people.
Outside or work I love to read and watch movies with friends and family. I have also recently started rock climbing which I am very bad at but I really enjoy!
