Environment Agency. We are a government funded public service working to create a better place for people and our environment.
I am a Civil Engineer and in my role as Project Manager for the Environment Agency I deliver large scale civil engineering projects. The projects I work on are mainly flood defence projects, protecting people and properties from coastal and river flooding and enhancing our environment. I have specialised in civil engineering contract management and I have recently delivered a cloud based computer contract management system used by the Environment Agency to manage their Capital Programme contracts.
I love working for an organisation that delivers projects to create a better place for people and our environment.
I spend a lot of time in meetings, on the telephone and sending/reading emails. I spend a lot of time reading and writing reports. My work also involves construction site visits, monitoring progress and managing construction and financial risk.
I have a civil engineering degree.
Sharing my knowledge of construction contract management, training others to become more proficient.
Horses! I compete at Dressage.
