Valued at Work is a diversity, equity, and inclusion (DE&I) consultancy promoting gender equity in male-dominated industries.
I train organisational leaders how to engage, enable, and retain women in STEM. I also mentor women to identify their superpowers, build their network, and visualise their goals.
I love seeing lightbulb moments! I’ve helped someone to see exactly what they need to do to get what they want so they can make a positive difference in their life and the world.
I work with people from a variety of backgrounds and find ways to engage them to meet their goals. I spend a lot of time listening, but also brainstorming to identify the best way to move forward.
I spent 18 years in the energy sector working on multimillion dollar projects offshore, onshore and on-site around the world. I am a chartered engineer and project professional. My degree is in Electronic and Electrical Engineering. Working with both men and women in this sector has inspired me to start my own consultancy to drive gender equity in male-dominated industries, like energy, technology, etc.
My first book will be released in October 2023! I want to see much improved gender balance in male-dominated sectors through companies and individuals working with Valued at Work.
I am a fan of the Marvel and DC movie franchises, as well as The Mandalorian and various Star Trek series’. Music relaxes me. You’ll often find me looking at the latest gadgets.
