Meta is a hi tech company that allows people across the globe to connect through a variety of platforms like Instagram, Facebook, Horizon Workrooms, Workplace, WhatsApp, and more! I manager a team of Senior Technical Recruiters who fill Application Engineer, Documentation Engineers, and Developer Advocate roles. Our team is responsible for finding Meta's next generation of talented leaders and bringing them through their application process, until they start in their dream jobs at Meta!
I love learning about each person on my team's professional and personal goals, and helping them to make progress towards those goals.
I spend my work day meeting with hiring leaders and my team members, connecting them to the resources they need to be successful, helping them solve problems, and providing feedback on their work and projects.
I started as a teacher with Teach For America. Once I left the classroom, I knew I wanted to join the corporate world. I was not sure what to do, so I joined a staff agency and tried a few different roles until I landed in recruiting. I worked hard to become good in that role because I loved it and took it up from there!
I would love to go into a more general Human Resources role, where I can work with business leaders to solve some of their most complex issues!
I spent time with a group of powerhouse women going to brunch, hiking or on walks, and playing with my dogs and kids!
