I am a high school student in the Los Angeles, CA area.
Currently, I am taking general education courses like math, science, English, etc. I'm also involved in my school's community by participating in various clubs, such as the book club, Academic Decathlon, and the tennis team!
I love being active in my school's community and bonding over shared interests. In my school's book club, we discuss whatever story we have agreed to read. I also enjoy that high school English classes are more interactive and we have the chance to discuss the literature we consume. I love debating over different theories and swapping writing with my peers.
It's really just a typical school day! I usually stay about two hours after school for tennis practice. If it's competitive season for the Academic Decathlon, then I stay about an hour after school to study. When it's not a competitive season for any extra-curricular, I like to walk to the nearby Starbucks with my friends.

Words are incredibly powerful. You can create an entire universe with your imagination and a pen! You can change someone's life with a perfectly crafted speech! The English language fascinates me. I want to hone my writing skills in university through a liberal arts degree. After that, I want to pursue a law degree, where I can learn the information that will allow me to craft my words into strong arguments that eventually will have weight in the court of law.
I like being physically active! Tennis is my favorite sport. I've recently been trying weight-lifting, but I still have a long road ahead of me. I also enjoy writing short stories and reading.
