Megan Bazan

Vice President of People & Communities

Cisco Systems

I lead a team of over 30 people, and am responsible for creating the high-performing Cisco, including hiring people with the right skills for the job. I am also responsible for making sure that Cisco employees all over the world grow, develop, and thrive.

I help people be at their best, learn everyday, and problem solve for better outcomes.

I spend a lot of my day fixing problems with leaders across the company. We brainstorm together on how to create win-win solutions for our employees and our company.

I started by career at Cisco in Customer Service, spending time with our customers, getting a deeper understanding of what we sell. I always was interested in the people work and quickly moved into Human Resources. Since then, my job has been to partner with the business to ensure our people and teams are successful.

I am very open to what the future holds, as long as I am learning and I am happy. New experiences and making an impact are what motivate me. I have always been interested in the world of mental health and how we can do better there, perhaps this is something I would explore in the future!

I love spending time with my family, especially my two kids, Gino & Evie, and my husband, Dave. We love going on vacations, playing cards, and exploring together. I also love to read; you can always find me with a good book. I spend some of my free time volunteering at the crisistextline.org. I always love snuggles with my Holland Lop bunny, Bun.
