I research new technology in the realm of hardware and software to enable future growth. In pursuit of this, I study technology trends and create proof-of-concept projects to explore these areas and share that knowledge with others.

I work on incredibly interesting and impactful stuff! My job allows me to continuously learn about many varied topics and apply that knowledge in practical and novel ways. There's never a dull moment in research, both with the topics you work on and the people you work with.

I get to study the newest technology out there by reading academic papers from universities and industry and applying that knowledge in my work. I also get to experiment with new concepts with coding projects I lead and present what I find to other researchers like me.

A career in technology wasn't on my mind at all until my last year of high school, when some of my friends brought it up as something I might like. I applied to the University of Texas, Austin for a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering on a whim and got in. During that time, I interned for 1 year at Intel doing software development and for 3 months at Arm doing project management work. After that, I interned at Arm twice more as a research intern while I completed my Master's degree in Computer Science again at The University of Texas, Austin. Then I worked at Arm full-time as a Research Engineer and loved it!

I hope to work towards leading my own research direction and helping support others in their research endeavors. I plan to work more with academic institutions and build up my knowledge base so I can become a researcher others look to for advice and help when they need it.

I love spending time with my family, especially my twin sister. She and I are two peas in a pod and never fail to have a great time together. I really enjoy reading fantasy novels and playing video games in my spare time. For me, it's all about the story. Finally, I like cooking! I recently discovered the wonderful world of pies and I expect to spend quite some time in that world now.
