My main activities revolve around my company. Our inspiration is Lean Six Sigma, a process improvement strategy to improve the speed of value creation in business processes. It's a collaborative team effort that aims to improve performance by systematically reducing variation and removing waste. That means we're always finding ways to help businesses be more efficient and more effective!
I love my own schedule and I love choosing the tasks/projects I do. I like getting lost in technical stuff. I'm very self-motivated, so there are no issues with getting through the work. Deciding when and how I work is exactly how I work best...
Some days, I code. Other days, I create webinars or have lots of exciting conversations. Some days I use computer-aided design software (CAD). Other days, I write reports.
I spent 8 years in oil and gas manufacturing as an engineer. FMC Technologies put me through a Master's degree program (MEng in Industrial-Mechanical Engineering). I was Chartered at that stage, started my own company, built some software products, and here I am now!
The same momentum that I've had until now - I hope!
I ski in the winter. I play guitar and piano in the house. Every day, I have fun with and enjoy training with my dog. I'm a Co-founder of the nonprofit proHOUND UK, which is another passion of mine!
