I'm a seasoned executive and serial entrepreneur in gaming and tech spaces. I have over a decade of experience in consulting on tech, games, leadership, and QA, working for some of the most reputable consultancies in the industry. I regularly speak at gaming and tech events on the topics of game production, games business, QA, team building, and leadership. I host a bi-weekly podcast, Leading The Way, about entrepreneurship and leadership through a gender lens. I also mentor women leaders at the European Innovation Council.
I love helping people and supporting them in their careers. I enjoy meeting people from all aspects of the business and learn more every day.
I start my day by checking schedule for any meetings. After that, I read my emails and set up priorities for the day. Most of my day, I spend corresponding to people, reading contracts, reviewing reports and having meetings. As COO, my job is to set up rules on how to do things for the whole company. Every day, I make lots of decisions about all aspects of the business.
I have long career in several industries. When I was young, I didn't know it was possible for me to have career in games and tech. It was just not something that girls were encouraged to do. But, in my 30's, I got a job in quality assurance that didn't require technical degree. I fell in love in tech and with hard work and taking few risks, I managed to build great career in big technology companies, like Nokia and Rovio. That gave me courage to start my own businesses in technology!
I hope that one day, I will be able to become an investor in the technology industry. I would like to help other women in this industry to build their businesses. Today, only about 3% of investments go to women and I would like to change that.
I love animals and I'm involved in different animal rescues. I have two adopted dogs and I help lots of organisations that save dogs, cats, wildlife and farm animals, like goats and pigs. I also love to travel and I love museums.
