Shockwave Medical
I supervise the events for Shockwave Medical. Shockwave Medical is revolutionizing the interventional treatment of advanced cardiovascular disease by developing technology that targets calcified plaque. I execute high-level events from 20 – 1,000 people: local speaker programs, national education programs, and global sales meetings. I book the room reservation and coordinate the details of the event with the host. I make sure everything runs smoothly. I also manage physician visits to headquarters including event registration, communication, invitation, physician flights, transportation, hotel contracts/rooming list, food & beverage, audio visual, program honoraria, off-site dinner, calendar invites with Zoom links, breakouts, pre-planning meetings, agenda, presentations, on-site set up, and clean up.
I love giving people unique and amazing experiences. People learn something new and make connections at these events that can change their life.
I manage several Microsoft Outlook calendars. I communicate with event hosts via email and phone. I coordinate the logistics of all the events with security, janitorial, facility, and catering team.
I have always been involved with planning events and conferences. In the past, I have coordinated fun events like Breakfast with Santa, Wine Dinners, Halloween Carnivals, and Fun Runs for athletic clubs.
I would like to plan bigger and more complex events, including virtual and hybrid events.
I love to workout for fun. I have my National Academy of Sports Medicine certification, I coach group fitness classes at F45 on the side.
