Building on 30 years of change, growth and servant leadership, I bridge gaps, shaping a safe, compassionate future at the intersection of technology and human culture through speaking, advising and board leadership. I bring leaders from different specialties together for common purpose. I infuse motivation and fun into the field team ( those are the customer facing people sales, technical).

Meeting new people, learning about different industries, traveling, developing new ways of communication and collaboration.

Doing a lot of research and learning. Coaching. Anticipating the future. Encouraging others to take challenges and opportunities. Lots of connecting of ideas, people, and ecosystems. ( Ecosystem means a broad community of different companies, nonprofits, and academia.)

When I was in high school, I taught aerobics at a local health club. The sales manager quit and they asked me to do sales. I was a natural because I connected at a personal level with the customers. By the time I was a senior in high school, I was making 30K a year! I thought I did not need to go to college, but my mother, who was a college professor, said no. I registered for classes and kept working! I continued on to get Master's degree by age 25. After college, I realized retail was not going far and interviewed with an early tech company. Doing a lot of research and follow ups, I got the job! From there, I took on leadership positions in other tech companies. I followed the hot technology and continued to lean in on what was relevant for the future. I also continued observing and learning from the best of the best, asking questions, listening, and trying new ideas.

My future holds leaning in at scale to make the workplace less routine. Bringing positive energy and contribution from all levels. In the future, I look to join company boards, as there is a large opportunity for women on boards in the future. I also want to expand my community through the written word.
