While working on Fidelity’s Managed Funds team: • Conceptualized and implemented a service recovery utility to assist with the technology team’s tasks during a critical audit or customer support request • Streamlined data management by structuring and organizing 500+ entries within tool, while also developing a custom script to efficiently handle larger datasets
I love that I get to problem solve and come up with creative solutions! It's almost like doing a puzzle of sorts every day!
We have team meetings, conference calls, and daily check-ins. I write code, analyze data, and work to develop better systems to handle large datasets.
I took a few Computer Science classes in high school. I had an internship during my junior year, and decided that this was what I wanted to be my job. I am currently a Senior at UNC Chapel Hill pursuing a B.S. degree in Computer Science and a minor in Data Science. My pathway to computer science began with an interest in entrepreneurship. Once I figured out that, I could put ideas into action with code, I developed a deep interest in both fields.
I'd love to be able to write an app of my own and run a business around it. I am actually working on an app with my friend, right now! I am interested in leveraging technology to create solutions to everyday problems, I have spent time learning full stack web application development both on my own and through internships and projects. My interest in computer science does not stop there, though. I am always excited to challenge myself and learn about topics that aren't familiar to me!
I like to play tennis with my dad and watch basketball. I am a big Portland Trail Blazers fan! I also love watching Marvel movies and sitcoms like 'Friends'. Other than that, I really enjoy going out with my friends.
