Lilian Agyemang-Yeboah

Applications Engineer for Life Sciences

Entegris

Entegris provides life-sustaining and life-improving innovations for people around the world. I work on projects that create products to help improve the lives of people.

It’s different everytime and extremely flexible. I’m always learning!

No day is ever the same. Some days, I’m in the lab running tests and evaluations. Other days, I’m in meetings or I’m writing technical papers. It’s never the same and that’s what keeps it fun!

After I graduated with my Associate degree in Engineering Science. I went ahead to earn a Bachelor of Science degree in Polymer/Plastics Engineering. During that time, I worked with two amazing companies. I worked on plastics films at one place and everyday consumer packaging goods, like coffee creamer bottles, at another. When I graduated, I worked at a rubber company for a few months and then I transitioned to working at Entegris.

I want to be able to positively impact the lives of so many young girls. To be able to dream big and not allow their failures to take over their lives. I want to change lives basically: through work, through my life, and through my passions.

I love cooking and watching cooking shows, like 'Master Chef'! I watch a lot of tv shows, as well. I also love learning new sports - I recently learned golf. I enjoy working with mentorship organizations. I founded 'Dear Women in STEM' for empowering women in STEM through storytelling. I also co-founded 'The L&S District' to create a community for international students and immigrants in the US.
