My current role is all about technical software development. I analyze the current applications we are using, identify areas that need improvement, and then develop and write out a detailed plan for how and when those improvements are made.
I love that I support over 450 software applications that are used all over the world! I am responsible for their operation, reliability, and growth. Automation is my passion when it comes to technology.
I start my day with a clean desk - no clutter - that always helps me get in the right mindset. I have a Kanban board for each project and label them by importance - High, Medium, or Low; that allows me to plan my day and priorities. I am a part of many global meetings, so I get to say "hello" to peers from all over the world. As a Technologist in Data & Analytics, I spend a lot of time reviewing detailed information and creating technical guides for other software engineers who are using these applications.
